Swinburne Aviation Industry Conference 4-6 June 2014

Leading figures in the aviation industry will be discussing a range of issues including balancing air traffic demand and capacity in Australia, the challenges facing remote airports, and contemporary human factors and safety issues impacting the industry.

The three-day conference will bring together aviation industry leaders, professionals, academics and researchers, with presentations from national and international industry figures. Attendees will also get the opportunity to network with presenters and Swinburne Aviation academic staff.

The Minister for the Aviation Industry, The Hon Gordon Rich-Phillips, will open the conference. Confirmed presenters include senior members of Airbiz, Australian Defence Force, Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting, Cathay Pacific Airways, Cobham, Darwin Airport, Intrepid Travel, Thales Australia and Virgin Australia.

Days 1 and 2 of the conference will focus on air transportation themes, while Day 3 will focus on human factors and safety.

The Conference fee is $50 for one day or $100 for two or more days. Both fees are GST inclusive.

Registration Closes : 5pm Friday, 30th May 2014

Participants need to register for the conference but can register for any number of sessions and are not required to attend the full 3 days. Participant feedback from our past conferences has been extremely positive, with generous comment regarding the calibre of presenter and quality of topic material.
